Boronia Farm

Nestled within the state forest only twelve kilometres from Donnybrook, in the upper reaches of the Capel River Valley, you will find Boronia Farm, a place of peace and tranquillity. With just the one cottage you can enjoy the peace and solitude of a rural escape or if you wish participate in the farm activities.

Listen to the red-tailed cockatoos as they fly overhead and marvel at the dainty blue wrens as they dance around your feet. Wonder at the frog chorus at dusk and the birdsong at dawn. Most evenings you can see kangaroos as they venture into the paddocks from the bush. Smell and view the scented Boronia growing, in season, in it's natural surroundings.  In spring wander through the forest and see our amazing variety of wildflowers.

Canoe on the dam in privacy with only the birds and creatures of the bush to keep you company. Then stay and BBQ while sipping a wine and watching the sun set over the water.

Couples of all ages are able to relax in front of the wood fires, bush walk and enjoy the seclusion of the farm where you will be our only guests. And of course you also are welcome to feed and talk to the animals and enjoy our permaculture vegetable garden and organic orchard.

Feed the chooks and collect the eggs.  Milko the goat loves to eat out of your hand and  loves company. Our two alpacas are often wondering around near the cottage and always welcome a chat.

We are a certified organic property with NASSA, therefore we use no harmful chemicals or artificial fertilizers.

Bring the kids bikes and let them have the freedom of riding around the farm. Take advantage of our 5 nights for the price of 4 from Sunday to Thursday outside of school holidays. The Kids are likely to learn more on a week away with mum and day and you all get to enjoy the South West without all the crowds.
