The Shamrock Restaurant is famous for good country cooking. It was built in 1911 as The Shamrock Boarding House for workers at the Pemberton Mill. For a brief time in its history, before electricity came to town, it housed the batteries that powered the Timber Mill. In the late 70’s it was transformed into a Restaurant and has continued to the present day. Pemberton is known around the world for its breathtaking beauty, Karri Forests , the Gloucester Tree, Wine, Rainbow Trout and Marron. The Shamrock Restaurant is renown for the Marron and Trout Platter for two. Come and enjoy the hospitality and tales from two of Pemberton’s local identities, Helen and Andrew. |
